WHICH RUNNING SHOES SHOULD YOU BUY? Determine which category best describes your feet: Flat feet/ overpronator, Normal Arch, or High Arch. If unsure, check the imprint of your wet foot on cement floor against the shapes in the table below:
Use the list of shoes under your foot classification as a shopping guide, but remember that you must try on the shoes and be satisfied that your feet are comfortable before buying.
Some general advice when buying shoes: · Shop in the later part of the day when your feet are slightly more swollen · Wear the socks you intend to use for running when trying your shoes · Always try BOTH sides. Lace them up, and stand, walk, and run on the spot in them. · Don’t buy the shoes if they don’t feel comfortable when you try them. Don’t believe anyone who says that your running shoes will feel more comfortable as time goes by.
